Housing Choices for the Whole Life Cycle: Opportunities and Benefits
When the time comes for aging parents, grown children or young families, will they be able to continue to call Cheshire their home?

Time & Location

Cheshire Public Library, 104 Main St, Cheshire, CT 06410, USA
About the Event
Housing costs are at all time highs. This means it's harder than ever for Cheshire's older residents to stay in their homes. It's harder than ever for growing families to move up from their "starter homes." It's also harder than ever for teachers, police officers, nurses, clerical workers, managers, truck drivers, electricians and many others who work in our community, to live in our community. Come listen to experts Dwight Merriam, Fellow and Past President of the American Institute of Certified Planners, and Sean Ghio, Policy Director of Partnership for Strong Communities as we discuss the housing and one potential solution to our housing shortage and cost crisis - accessory dwelling units (ADUs). Sponsored by the Coalition for a Sustainable Cheshire.
